OUR ORIGIN
Aerial shots weren't the answer.
Kybos was founded by Louis Pont in 2019, capturing sites from the air as Aerial Perspectives Australia. As construction teams started asking for measurable records rather than photographs, the work moved to the ground, and Kybos became what it is now: 3D capture built around the stages of a build.
That gap is where Kybos works.
THE NAME
κύβος, the cube.
Kybos comes from the Greek κύβος, cube: the perfect geometric solid and the foundation of three-dimensional space. Every site Kybos captures becomes a precise, measurable volume of data.

WHERE KYBOS WORKS
Between a phone gallery and a survey crew.
The big scanning firms are national, survey-grade and priced for it. They do excellent work on the projects that need it. Most construction jobs don't need a survey crew and a five-figure invoice. They need a clear, dated, measurable record of the site at the moments that matter, delivered fast and read easily by everyone on the job. That gap is where Kybos works.

One operator, or more when it's needed.
Most jobs are captured solo, which is what keeps Kybos fast and direct. For larger projects, or several sites in one window, additional licensed operators are brought in.

Qualified, licensed, insured.
CASA Remote Pilot Licence
Licensed and insured for commercial drone operation.
Urban & Environmental Planning
Degree-qualified, Griffith University. Kybos reads a site the way the people commissioning it do.
Public Liability & PI insured
Covered by public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Certificate of currency provided on request.
Construction White Card
Site-ready and inducted for construction environments.
COVERAGE
Based on the NSW–Queensland border, Kybos covers the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Northern Rivers as standard, and takes on larger projects nationally.
