Scan-to-BIM converts 3D laser scan data of an existing building into a native BIM model, usually in Revit. It gives your design team an accurate existing-conditions model to open, edit and design over, instead of working from old or unreliable drawings.

The scope is agreed per project. Typically architectural elements (walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, windows, stairs), structural elements where required (columns, beams, slabs), and visible services and MEP where needed. You receive native Revit geometry, not just a point cloud.

Yes. Kybos can capture the site, or model from your existing registered scan data in E57, RCP, RCS, LAS or other compatible formats. Supplied-data modelling is quoted separately, so this works anywhere in Australia.

Native Revit (.rvt) and IFC as standard, with ArchiCAD (.pln) on request, plus the supporting point cloud (E57, RCP). Optional 2D DWG and PDF extraction on request.

The model is built from measured scan data, so it reflects the building as captured. Required tolerance is set per project and agreed up front. Scan-to-BIM is for documentation and design; it isn't certified survey data, and where certified survey control is required Kybos works alongside a registered surveyor.
